Ramadan Reflections: 10 minute Ramadan Journal (10 Minute Journal) by Samira Abdi

A journal to accompany your Ramadhan.

Ramadan Reflections: 10 minute Ramadan Journal (10 Minute Journal) by Samira Abdi

This is what I have to say for this journal. The highlight is of course, you only need 10 minutes to self-reflect everyday.

I had the chance to review this journal and was sent a copy few weeks before Ramadhan. Of course, I had to wait until the holy month comes before I can start using it for the experience. I really love all the quotes put forward by the author. The author made an effort to write the quote before each day starts so that you can always be reminded.

My favourite quote was by Abdul Azeez ibn Abee Ruwaad. I love it because it quickly reminds me that my doings for Ramadhan this year might not be accepted by Allah, this will surely keep both of my feet to the ground. The practice to write few things in the morning and at night is brilliant because you can self-check yourself at the end of Ramadhan. What do you have to write in the morning and at night is labelled by the symbol of the sun and the moon.

Some of the things that I have to list down are the things that I have to be thankful for and what made today great. This journal is really a good idea to keep track of your Ramadhan and can be helpful for a thorough self-reflection if we can make it to the next Ramadhan.
